what's special about this tea?

We've blended slightly sweet honeybush with the nutty tones of rooibos (Afrikaans for "red bush"), two native South African shrubs that complement each other perfectly. They grow only in the Cederberg mountain region of South Africa and are harvested and prepared in much the same way as regular tea. Naturally caffeine-free and nutrient-rich, you can drink it with milk as a caffeine-free replacement to your normal cuppa.

how to prepare honeybush and rooibos tea

It’s very easy to make honeybush and rooibos tea – just follow these simple steps:

1. Boil water: Get fresh water and boil.

2. Add rooibos honeybush tea bags: For each cup of water, use a rooibos and honeybush tea bag. Place a tea bag in each cup and pour boiling water.

3. Steep: Let the tea steep for about 5 to 7 minutes. This time is good enough to develop the flavours and prepare the drink. However, if only a stronger tea does it for you, steep it longer. It’s a really gorgeous tea – never bitter, even if you leave it for too long.
